Looking forward to the weeks posts Mike,

Traffic is the lifeblood of any site and without it you certainly won't get very far.

Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve.

Generating traffic is a must in any online business but as you pointed out you need something set up to send the traffic to - then get targeted traffic. I'm looking forward to the rest of your series

Mike, I like your topic for this blog tour stop. Building a list is a key part of internet marketing success and you are right that a squeeze page and all of its parts must be a part of you traffic strategy.

Looking forward to your discussion on a system to convert traffic. As you say getting traffic is not the end; converting it to the desired result is.

You're right, I see it all too often where people are just worried about getting traffic to their site, without thinking that it has to be targeted traffic. Nothing happens unless someone takes action on your site, and that won't happen with general untargeted traffic.

First things First, eh Mike. Excellent point. Of course you need to get a fair amount of traffic before you can judge how well your squeeze page is working so you have to do some traffic promotion to make a judgment, but once you do, it clearly makes a lot of sense to focus first and foremost on the mechanics of your system, and then on driving traffic to it.
